A great adaptation of Les Miserables, Sky Without Stars had vivid descriptions and storytelling, complex, interesting characters that I could connect to, and a creative premise and world that enhanced the story. And to top it all off, the story was in space! A fairly long read but definitely worth it, I can't wait to read the others in the series.

About a boy protecting his brother while also hiding his dark secret in a world where magic and real life collide, The Magician's Brother has everything: an interesting premise and storyline, in-depth and round characters, incredible writing, and plenty of humor. I was hooked from the first page, and the rest of the book and series did not disappoint. The perfect book for fantasy lovers.
